A green beacon in the cold
It does not appear suddenly. It announces itself. In the cold night, somewhere in the middle of nowhere, there is first only darkness. Road. Landscape. Silence. And then this green. Distant, unreal, almost wrong. A light that has no obvious reason to be there. With every metre, it becomes clearer. Not a village. Not a house. But a construction of glass and steel, glowing as if it had a mission of its own. From afar, it looks like something that has landed. Too precise, too bright, too foreign for this landscape. A UFO that has decided to study vegetables instead of humans. Only up close does it become clear what it is. And still the feeling remains that it might also be something else. This image is about the moment of approach. About wonder in the night. And about a light that, for a brief instant, seems not to come from here.
In der kalten Nacht, irgendwo im Nichts, liegt zuerst nur Dunkelheit.
Straße. Landschaft. Stille.
Und dann dieses Grün.
Fern, unwirklich, fast falsch. Ein Licht, das dort eigentlich nichts zu suchen hat.
Mit jedem Meter wird es deutlicher.
Kein Dorf. Kein Haus.
Sondern ein Konstrukt aus Glas und Stahl, das leuchtet, als hätte es eine eigene Mission.
Von Weitem wirkt es wie ein gelandetes Objekt. Zu präzise, zu hell, zu fremd für diese Umgebung.
Ein UFO, das beschlossen hat, Gemüse statt Menschen zu studieren.
Erst aus der Nähe wird klar, was es ist.
Und gleichzeitig bleibt das Gefühl, dass es auch etwas anderes sein könnte.
Dieses Bild erzählt vom Moment der Annäherung.
Vom Staunen in der Nacht. Und von einem Licht, das kurz so wirkt, als käme es nicht von hier.
