KITCHEN This work does not think in rooms. It thinks in surfaces. Metal stands against wood. Cold against warm. Smooth against grown. No hierarchy — only tension. The stainless-steel planes are no longer doors. They are upright bodies, charged with use, pressure, movement. The surface is at work. It lives from abrasion, reflection, resistance. The round openings cut into the plane like inserts in a composition. Not a view through, but a pause. A moment that breaks the rhythm — and makes it audible because of that. The wood does not frame. It holds. It carries the beat set by the metal. Vertical fields, strictly placed, like a structure that does not explain order, but enforces it. Above it: KITCHEN. A word like an impact. Factual. Functional. Final. It does not describe anything — it sets resistance. What emerges here is not the depiction of a place. It is an abstract constellation of material, surface and weight. An image that does not want to tell. It wants to stand. Not decorative, but precise. Every surface holds its ground. None steps aside. KITCHEN is not an interior. It is a condition. Function becomes structure. Structure becomes image.

Die Edelstahlflächen sind keine Türen mehr. Sie sind stehende Körper, aufgeladen mit Gebrauch, Druck, Bewegung. Die Oberfläche arbeitet. Sie lebt von Abrieb, Reflex, Widerstand.
Die runden Öffnungen schneiden in die Fläche wie Einsätze in einer Komposition. Kein Blick hindurch, sondern ein Innehalten. Ein Moment, der den Rhythmus bricht – und ihn dadurch erst hörbar macht.
Das Holz rahmt nicht. Es hält. Es trägt den Takt, den das Metall vorgibt. Vertikale Felder, streng gesetzt, wie ein Gerüst, das Ordnung nicht erklärt, sondern erzwingt.
Darüber: KITCHEN. Ein Wort wie ein Schlag. Sachlich. Funktional. Endgültig. Es benennt nichts – es setzt einen Widerstand.
Was hier entsteht, ist keine Abbildung eines Ortes. Es ist eine abstrakte Konstellation aus Material, Fläche und Gewicht. Ein Bild, das nicht erzählen will, sondern bestehen.
