GOLDEN FIELDS
When the Rhön Wears Gold
Gold simply grows here.
No mine.
No vault.
Just a field getting slightly carried away for a few minutes.
Wind moves through the grass, light runs across the stems, and suddenly the Rhön feels less like landscape than one large moving surface.
Everything sways.
Nothing is entirely still.
Grass becomes fibre. Wind becomes rhythm. And a perfectly ordinary piece of earth begins to behave suspiciously like something precious.
Apparently, the Rhön can do glamour too.
It simply does not dress up for it.
GOLDEN FIELDS belongs to ESSENZ – STERNE DER RHÖN and was shown at the Vonderau Museum. But the image needs neither geography lesson nor explanation.
Watching it glow is quite enough.
Because sometimes the entire difference between a field and gold is simply:
the right light.
And a little wind.
