When the Earth Had Not Yet Fallen Still You stand only two metres from a wall. And suddenly you see a land. Basalt, fracture, shadow, motion turned solid. What is surface today was once pressure from below — heat, force, open earth. The Rhön appears here not as landscape, but as its own beginning: a piece of cooled unrest, close enough to see the scars, far enough to recognize a mountain range within it. The image takes scale away from you. Stone becomes topography. A surface becomes deep time. Not as geological explanation, but as a reminder that even the hardest matter was once fluid, hot, unresolved. FEUERSTEIN does not show a rock. It shows the moment when the earth began to take form.

Basalt, Riss, Schatten, geronnene Bewegung. Was heute Oberfläche ist, war einmal Druck aus der Tiefe — Hitze, Schub, offene Erde. Die Rhön erscheint hier nicht als Landschaft, sondern als ihr eigener Ursprung: ein Stück erkalteter Unruhe, nah genug, um die Narben zu sehen, weit genug, um ein Gebirge darin zu erkennen.
Das Bild nimmt einem den Maßstab. Aus Stein wird Topografie. Aus einer Fläche wird Vorzeit. Nicht als geologische Erklärung, sondern als Erinnerung daran, dass selbst das Härteste einmal flüssig war, heiß, unentschieden.
FEUERSTEIN zeigt keinen Felsen. Es zeigt den Moment, in dem die Erde begann, Form anzunehmen.
