Obviously, He Is Still There.
STEVE McQUEEN IS NOT IN THE ROOM.
OBVIOUSLY, HE IS STILL THERE.
Richard Neutra. Glass. Steel. Light.
And in the middle of it, a white Porsche 935 — wide enough to end most conversations about restraint fairly quickly.
In front of it sits a model 917.
Small against large.
Legend against legend.
And somewhere in the glass, Steve McQueen appears — half portrait, half reflection, just present enough to take over the scene.
That is the peculiar thing about icons:
they do not have to be present to occupy a room.
The 917 is a private nod for those who know.
The 935 needs no introduction.
And McQueen?
He simply watches.
MCQUEEN’S ECHO puts architecture, racing history and memory into the same room without turning any of them into background.
Neutra holds the lines.
The 935 takes the space.
McQueen gets the final scene.
He is not there.
His echo is enough.

Each size is limited to an edition of 5 artworks, plus 2 Artist’s Proofs (5 + 2 AP per size). Different frame materials do not create an additional edition.
Every ATELI’R artwork is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity issued by KAYSER FINE ARTS, identifying the work by title, edition number, edition size and its individual specifications.
