MILKY WAY EXPRESS
MILKY WAY EXPRESS
A tribute to work, time, and everyday dignity.
This one started early.
Up before everyone else. Cold hands on the wheel, warm sun on the face.
It carried timber, paint, parcels, hopes. Saw construction sites, new homes, old neighbourhoods. Learned the smell of sawdust, asphalt after rain and fresh coffee from the diner on the corner.
Back then, it was faster.
A little reckless, perhaps.
Today, it has grown quieter.
More at ease.
It knows where it belongs.
Every dent speaks of a long day. Every line of a road that was taken. It has watched generations come and go, streets change and shops disappear while a few stubbornly remained.
MILKY WAY EXPRESS is a homage to the quiet companions of life.
Things that simply work.
Stay.
Carry.
A photograph about labour without pathos, dignity in the everyday — and growing older without losing what made you start.
