The landscape has almost disappeared. Fog has reduced it to a handful of lines, so fine that eventually you are no longer quite sure whether you are looking at coast, water, or simply the idea of them.
One line runs through the image.

Water becomes surface. Coast becomes drawing. The horizon makes one small gesture and decides that will do.
