VENICE BOARDS
Breakfast in Venice. A beer in the desert at night
BREAKFAST IN VENICE.
DINNER MAYBE IN THE DESERT.
A few hundred miles in between and absolutely no sensible reason to hurry.
The board goes in the car. So does the coffee. Someone knows a spot where the waves are supposed to be better. Someone else insists on Joshua Tree.
Fine.
We’ll do both.
California has always been rather good at bringing together things that would keep a respectable distance from each other elsewhere.
Surfers and desert. Cacti and Pacific. Old vans, good music and people whose planning rarely extends beyond sunset.
VENICE BOARDS.
Maybe Californication isn’t a lifestyle after all.
Maybe it is simply the rather pleasant inability to choose just one thing.
Finished in Black Beech.
Built for everyday living.
