BOB SMITH SOLD PORSCHES.

A lot of them.

Back then they left the dealership new, shiny and probably rather pleased with themselves. What happened to most of them afterwards is anyone’s guess.

This one survived.

Not untouched. Survived.

The old chrome Bob Smith dealer frame is still there. So is the welding scar. The paint has gone tired under a California sun that is wonderful for photographs and absolutely merciless to cars.

Every scratch suddenly belongs to the story.

You could repaint it.

Then California would have done all that work for nothing.
